Here are some possible topics to be thinking about: \n\nOur beliefs around dying and an after-life\nDealing with the aging and death of parents\nHaving those difficult conversations with your parents\, your spouse\, your kids\nDealing with your own aging and inevitable end\nDownsizing: your stuff\, your accommodations\nPlanning your own memorial service\nWriting your own obituary\nDying with Dignity and Medical Aid in Dying\nUnfinished business: wills\, executors\, personal directives\, power of attorney\, etc.\nOptional endings: death doulas\, home funerals\, green burials\, how to avoid the big sell\nDealing with grief\, asking for help\, finding support\n\nLooking forward to seeing you there. DESCRIPTION:We have enough interest to launch a young adult group. Game on. \nI (Ben) personally found a UU young adult group to be life-changing. Open-minded\, open-hearted community where you can be accepted for who you are and have meaningful conversations about life. Sometimes it’s about imagining the world of our dreams and taking action\, sometimes it’s simply hanging out with people who get you. \nIt’ll mostly be informal\, and we can talk about what you’d like to do this winter/spring – perhaps informal gatherings or themed discussions. \nI’m appreciating the energy – let’s ignite a group. \nThe Oxford Taproom is at 6418 Quinpool Rd.
