Service: The Danger of Uranium Mining

The spectre of uranium exploration and mining has arisen again in our province, with the government lifting their long-established ban. Dr. Nancy Covington of our UU Community and a member of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment will speak to us about the danger of uranium mining for people and the environment and the urgency of this situation.
