Sometimes we offer our opinions lightly, encouraging others to do their own thinking, tuned into their own consciences; and sometimes we speak boldly, calling for change. Today we consider how and when to change minds.
What makes you change your mind? How do you approach trying to persuade someone else to change their mind? How do your principles influence how you engage in the art of persuasion?
At its best, political protest can expand the love and justice in the world; but protest can sometimes feed an us-vs-them mentality. Today we consider how to protest in a way that overcomes division, whether within communities, countries or the world.
